Image shows Hubert J. O'Dell, district manager of Singer Sewing Machine Company in Fort Worth, won a two-week paid vacation to New York and Washington in a sales contest held by his firm that was based on the volume of sales that were increased in the first quarter of 1950. Previously, O'Dell was the West Texas district manager with headquarters in Wichita Falls until 1946. Published in the evening edition, April 25, 1950.
