Description
D. H. Moore, manager of American Paper Stock Company, mailed a check for $286 to the Fort Worth Zoological Society, after the Fort Worth Boy and Cub Scouts collected nearly 70,000 pounds of newspapers and old telephone directories. The money was to be used toward the construction of the Frank Buck Memorial Tiger Moat at the Forrest Park Zoo. Published in the evening edition, April 25, 1950.
