Description
John Bevil, left, marched with Art Ford, right, in the Moslah Temple Shrine parade since 1920. The image shows Mr. Bevil jokingly trying to tickle the arthritis from Mr. Ford's feet, so he can march alongside his friend. Though the tickle did not work, Mr. Ford, drum major for the Moslah Drum and Bugle Corps, was still able to ride a convertible to keep intact a 29-year record of never missing a parade. Published in the morning edition April 23, 1950.
