Description
Jack Shytles, a Shriner Camel herder, stands, preparing to place a camel stamp on J. L. French, initiate, after the novice survived the Moslah Temple Shrine Camel Herders' initiation, held at the Worth Hotel. Assisting Shytles in the mock 'surgery' were Marsline K. Moore, chief stable master of the herd, and George Beaudry, president of the Drum and Beagle Corps, which sponsored the herders. Shown left to right, Marsline K. Moore, Jack Shytles, George Beaudry, and J. L. French. Published in the evening edition, April 22, 1950.
