Description
Mrs. Emma A. Deckard celebrated her 80th Birthday with friends and family at 2413 Prospect. Just a few days prior, Mrs. Deckard's children had almost given up that their mother would live to see this birthday, when she experienced a sudden heart attack. After several days in and out of the hospital however, their mother made a "miraculous" recovery, and the family was able to fully celebrate. Published in the morning edition, April 21, 1950.
