Major General Samuel D. Sturgis Jr. was pleased with Texas hat he received from the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and Trinity Improvement association at Hotel Texas. Gen. Sturgis was recently named chief of the Corps of Engineers, United States Army, making his official inspection April 15 and 16 of the Fort Worth district project.
