Handley Minstrel - Pictured are some members of the Handley Dad's Club who will be in the cast of a club minstrel at 8 p.m. Friday [April 17, 1953] and Saturday [April 18, 1953] at Handley High School auditorium. They are, left to right, Nova Howard, Joe Kunze, Lewis Alvis, Marvin Harris and Bill Hill. Clipping reads: "Fathers of Handley Elementary School students who are organized in a Dad's Club will present a minstrel Friday and Saturday nights to raise funds for their children's classrooms...Money will be used to add to school room's equipment and supplies that the school does not provide." Published in the in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 15, 1953.
