Schooling - Atwood McDonald, right, who began his first term on the board of education Wednesday, listens while Stuart Lydick, left, and O. C. Armstrong discuss school matters. The three were elected Saturday. Armstrong was chosen board president to replace George Conner, who did not run for the board again. Lydick will be serving his first elective term after being appointed to a vacancy. This is Armstrong's second six-year term.
