Description

Schemer In Opera - Frank Rogier, New York operatic baritone, has the role of Gianni Schicchi in the Puccini opera of that name, to be repeated by the Fort Worth Civic Opera Friday night. Schicchi, full of sharp schemes for his own advantage, but short on ethics, is the central figure of a fast-moving comedy, in which he outwits a group of scheming relatives bent upon circumventing the will of a deceased landholder.
