    Description

Fort Worth's 13 Lions Clubs started their blood donor drive Tuesday with the able assistance of these five, left to right, Charles M. Seymour, program chairman; Corporal Edward Lewis (holding one of 10,000 donor cards with his artificial arm); Major General Haydon L. Boatner, 1st Lieutenant Henry H. Peters, and Dr. W. J. Danforth, director of veterans affairs at the Chamber of Commerce. General Boatner, principal speaker, used Lewis and Peters, wounded Korean veterans, to illustrate the vital need for blood to save lives of fighting men.
