W. P. Foster, 73, chief turnkey at Tarrant County Jail who shot and killed 3 prisoners who were attempting to escape from jail. He suffered a wound in his left leg and is shown resting in bed. He has served in the Texas Prison System for 53 years and has foiled a number of prisons breaks in his career.
