Description

A tornado cut a swath of disaster through Jud, O'Brien, and Knox City Friday afternoon. Thirteen persons were killed, scores injured and property damage was estimated at more than $1,000,000. This scene in Knox City shows kindling wood that used to be houses, wrecked automobiles, flooded streets and debris-covered fields.
