Description
Shortstop W. E. Barnes, right, who doubles as a Dallas Motorcycle officer, found argument useless against the umpire, Fort Worth Detective Roy Hilts. The home team catcher, Radio Patrolman H. W. (Dude) Jordan, knew the outcome. But the visitors finally won, 15 to 7. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition June 9, 1950.
