    Description

Luis Roney will be singing tenor lead at the Opera in Will Rogers Auditorium. It was a shower serenade that caused him to wash his hands of his studies at Harvard Medical School and to wade into the concert and operatic field. The late Grace Moore heard him singing in the shower. Roney compared singing a grueling lead role in an opera setting is similar to playing 60 minutes of football. "I sweat off about five pounds a performance," he revealed.
