Description

Atomic rays from the large machine at these men's feet penetrated the steel casting in front of it and took a picture of the steel. Examining the negative are, from left to right, J. P. Fowler, chief inspector at the Texas Steel Company, O. W. Fitz, who helped develop the gamma ray machine, and R. L. Brumm, consulting engineer. The machine at Brumm's feet is a smaller model of the other one.
