Mrs. G. R. Ogletree of Austin, right, historian of Oliver Hazzard Perry chapter of Austin which was organized in 1903, cuts the 50th anniversary cake of the Texas State Council, U.S. Daughters of 1812, at the state president's evening held Friday at Hotel Texas. Mrs. Uel Stephens, of Fort Worth, state president, and Mrs. Earl Byers, Fort Worth, president of General Tarrant chapter, left to right, wait to be served.
