Description
This jury had the tremendous task of selecting winners from a record 2,796 entries in the 26th annual Scholastic Art Awards regional competition. Their selections were being hanged at Stripling's where they could be seen by the public. The judges are, front row, Miss Merle Fincher, Dallas art teacher; Mrs. Ann Ebel, Oklahoma City art teacher; Mrs. Kathleen Lawrence, Fort Worth painter. Back row, Bror Utter, Fort Worth artist, and Dr. Kenneth B. Loomis, head of TSCW's art department at Denton.
