Description
Dr. Margaretha Ascher, a retired Texas Christian University professor who will be 81 on March 1st went back to her classroom this month. She holds a bachelor and master of arts degree from the University of Chicago and a doctorate from the University of Michigan. Before coming here in 1928, Miss Ascher taught German in Michigan. However she took up Spanish when World War I ended German classes in public schools.
