Description
A 47-year-old Harry Charles Suggs, ex-convict, captured in a San Angelo jewelry store, was brought here Saturday night and admitted getting more than $50,000 worth of jewelry from stores in six Texas towns and in Oklahoma and Kansas. In the presence of Detective Lieutenant W. H. Matlock and a Star-Telegram reporter, freely told of his "lone wolf" burglary spree which began in October, a month after he was released from the state penitentiary. Riding from town to town on buses, Suggs burglarized jewelry stores in Austin, Abilene, Longview, Waco, Sherman and McKiney. He also explained that how much money he got by burglary and selling the items from different places.
