Mrs. Roscoe Souder, left, of 701 House and Mrs. J. C. Butcher of 1308 May, with their husbands and Bill Hanabery of 1405 South Jennings, literally caught fish "by the ton" in the Balsas River and the Pacific Ocean. They were the first white women ever seen by the Tarascan Indians there.
