Description

This is the house that less than a year ago was in such a bad state of repair, that it was declared unsafe for its aged and disabled African Americans occupants and ordered closed. Today the doors of the same house at 1510 West Peter Smith stand wide open to the African American homeless. The care home has been completely renovated and now meets all city health and fire prevention standards. [see scan 20129760]
