    Description

    Mrs. B. M. Turnage, of 3728 Yucca, is shown sitting at a desk. Mrs. Turnage heard the shots fired, that killed Selwyn Smith three years prior in April, 1947. She is quoted as saying "I'll never forget hearing those shots. I'm Glad they caught the man who did it. I didn't think he would ever be caught". Mr. Smith was a former city-employee, and was 64 at the time of his death. Published in the evening edition, April 15, 1950.
