Niel Carter, Walters, Oklahoma, Future Farmers of America (FFA) boy, poses with his 10 1/2-pound white Wyandotte cockerel which was judged junior champion of the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show poultry show. Carter is holding the trophy presented by Burrus Feed Mill Company under the sponsorship of the Texas state branch of the American Poultry Association.
