Description
All the air is not in the score of "The Desert Song," to be sung by the Fort Worth Civic Opera during the week as a companion attraction to the Stock Show. Some of the principals came out for air during a rehearsal in Ed Landreth Auditorium. Left to right, Truman Gage, who has the role of General Birabeau; Roberta Jonay, the Azuri; Karl Kritz, musical director; William Wymetal, stage director; Jean Fenn, Margot; Sterling Holloway, Bennie; Richard Wentworth, Ali Ben Ali; and Eddie Roecker, as Pierre and the Red shadow.
