Lord High Chancellor Parker Wilson, center, placed the crown on Patti Cameron of Texas State College for Women as she was declared queen of the Mardi Gras at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum Wednesday night. Ronald Clinkscale of Texas Christian University, left, was king of the celebration. Crown Bearer Dwight Lee Klingenberg of Saint Mary's School, and Flower Girl Connie McConnell of Our Lady of Victory, watching the crowning.
