Description
"The Gun That Won the West" (left) is shown here for comparison with the newest " Model 70 Featherweight". This lightest of all Winchesters weighs just 6 and a half pounds while other modern rifles range from eight to 12 pounds. Wayne Brown, WBAP-TV cameraman, holds the guns. The old "Winchester 73" is a short-barrel carbine giving much evidence of saddle wear.
