Description
The people who helped shape Johnny Thompson, former Italian war waif, into the American young man he is today, are Curly Thompson, on the right, who picked Johnny off the Battlefront in Italy and later gave him a home in Waxahachie, and Thompson's mother, Mrs. A. D. Thompson, who now regards Johnny as "one of my own." The dog is Poncho, family pup.
