Another traffic hazard is getting out of a car on the street side of a parked vehicle as demonstrated by Miss Betty McCrary. Not only does this method of exit delay moving traffic but distracts attention of drivers, endangers the life of the person leaving the car and may cause series of bumper-to-bumper collisions.
