Description
Richland Hills Mayor Homer Norton flipped a switch at 8 p. m. and 52 street lights scattered throughout the suburban community blazed on for the first time. The lighting ceremony, at the intersection of Popplewell and Dover Lane, marked the completion of civic betterment program which included installation of street signs and acquisition of a five-acre park with a lake in the center of it.
