Description
Mrs. Guy Weems of Stephenville keeping vigil at the bedside of her fourteen-year-old daughter Peggy Joyce, who had been in a semi-coma for 10 weeks at the City County Hospital. Both Mrs. Guy and her husband lost their jobs at Christmas, and still held hope for their daughter's recovery, though her doctors said that there appeared to be no chance of recovery from her illness, caused by meningitis. Published in the evening edition, April 14, 1950.
