Description
The third annual Star-Telegram Christmas Tree and Music Festival began Tuesday night when this 70-foot tree was lighted in Burk Burnett Memorial Park. This photo of the tree, adorned with 4,000 bulbs, was taken from the Texas Electric Service Company building. Crowds of Fort Worth people gather Tuesday night at the base of the Star-Telegram's 1952 Christmas tree as its lights go on, heralding the beginning of the Music Festival to be held each night through Christmas Eve.
