Wearing sombreros borrowed from a mariachi band, friends from two sides of the border gather at Western Hills Hotel. They are Cosme Hinojosa, left, Mexican consul general for the Southwest, and Jack Danciger, former honorary Mexican consul here. Hinojosa and other visitors were honor guests at a reception at the hotel.
