Fort Worth clubs are getting an early and enthusiastic start on plugging poll tax payments. Mrs. C. Freeman Alexander was among members of the League of Women Voters deputized Wednesday by Reed Stewart, Tarrant County tax assessor-collector, and authorized to write poll tax receipts.
