A check for $250 was presented to Mrs. J. R. McCabe Wednesday by C. C. Makarwich, president of the River Oaks Lions Club. The contribution was to help the mother of five children restore belongings lost when a fire destroyed her home. Mrs. McCabe and Makarwich are shown viewing the ruins.
