Honored at the Steeplechase ball Friday night were the nine girls who made their formal bows last week at The Assembly ball. Back, left to right, are Misses Frances Menard Vaughan of Bay City, Isabelle Brown, Alice Thomas of New Orleans and Diane Ismay, and front, left to right, Misses Mary Leonard, Elise Waggoner, Julia Esther Morton of Houston and Gail Potts. Miss Virginia Furman, also one of the Assembly debutantes, is pictured elsewhere.
