Mrs. James Welch, left, is being initiated into some of the mysteries of orchid growing by Mrs. A. W. Samuels. Mrs. Welch is president of St. Mary's Garden Club, which will present a flower show Tuesday, October 28 at St. Ann's Club. Mrs. Samuels show chairman, will present a special section on orchidology.
