Harnett Kane, author of "Dear Dorothy Dix." Women fans of both the late Miss Dix and Kane just can't take the knowledge that she wasn't beautiful that she admitted to having bow legs. "I just made her real," Kane said as he autographed copies of his book at Stripling's.
