Mrs. Maudie Hawkins hangs a water color called, "The Lake of the Ozark" which passed a Texas Fine Arts Association jury last year and was displayed in the Elizabeth Ney Museum in Austin. Mrs. Hawkins will teach an oil painting course for the YMCA. Mrs. Hawkins is shown holding a paint brush and palette and is wearing a dress with Asian inspired design.
