Tighe Woods, chairman of the federal rent stabilization agency, picked by president Truman to head the Office of Price Stabilization was rushed by women who see no reason for a price stabilizer or price controls at his Denton meeting to find out what women want him to do in his new job. He would later submit his resignation into President Truman and his administration on November 30th, 1952.
