Mrs. J. A. Kastle, left, president of the Fort Worth Council of Parents and Teachers, presented the council's $650 check to Linda Porter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Porter, 4524 Pershing, for use in the public schools' exceptional child program. The presentation took place in the public library. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 6, 1950.
