Description

Wake Forest's Louis Simmons (33) sticks out one hand to make a knee tackle on Baylor's Don Carpenter in the second period at Waco. The play gained three yards and led to the Bears' first touchdown. Baylor won a close battle with the Deacons, 17-14. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition September 21, 1952.
