Description
Texas Christian University's football team got a rousing sendoff as it departed for the season's opener with University of Kansas at Lawrence. Shown at left, atop a Santa Fe depot baggage wagon, are Texas Christian University yell leaders directing students in a pep rally before the team departed. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition September 20, 1952.
