Club Former for Stevenson - County Democratic Chairman Tom ward Friday announced the organization of a stevenson-Sparkman Club in what he said was an "all out campaign" for the Democratic presidential nominee. T. Young Collins, an attorney was named executive director and secretary-treasurer of the club. Ward will serve as chairman. Members of the advisory committee are 10 members of the county Democratic executive committee: J. V. Stockton, Paul Gray, L. L. Ballard, Joe Lawing, J. C. Foust, L. I. Pratt, Mrs. W. B. Lacy, T. C. Davenport, Claude Wood and Paul H. Mathews. Ward said 10,000 club membership cards and 10,000 car stickers have been printed and sales of club memberships at $1 each have begun. Collins, who resides at 2104 Fairmount, said, "I am one of those Democrats who stayed in the party in 1928 and this year I want to do anything I can to help elect Governor Stevenson and Senator Sparkman."
