Description

The Fort Worth Cats lost a ball player, no doubt, when Shortstop Bill Hunter was named the Texas League's "Player of the Year" the 1952 season but our town apparently gained a couple of citizens with the "Hunter Night" which was run off at La Grave Field Sunday night. Shown is Hunter at the microphone, with his wife. At left is R. G. Rickenbrode, chairman of fans' committee in charge of program for the special night.
