F. Marion Slack of 3631 Crestline Road, real estate man who moved here from Odessa in 1947, exhibits a model of his fly-proof garbage can on which a patent application has been accepted by the U. S. Patent Office. The housing, with automatically spring-operated lid, will be built to fit standrad can sizes and will cost less than $20, Slack estimated.
