Description
Julius Boros, the new National Open champion, sprints happily toward the cup after seeing his ball drop for a difficult par on the 16th hole of the final round. The North Carolina pro played steady golf throughout the tournament, finished with a one-over-par 281 to win the championship. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 15, 1952
