Description
Julius Boros, the new National Open title-holder, blasts from a trap on the 15th hole of his final round at Northwood. The ball, at upper right, came down 15 feet beyond pin, but Boros sank the putt for a par. This was the fourth consecutive hole on which the winner was trapped, but he finished with a 71 and a four-stroke winning margin. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 15, 1952
