Description
Here is a view from Lake Dallas dam of the state fish hatchery that soon must be covered by 40 to 50 feet of water as the big Lewisville dam backs up water over what is now Lake Dallas, east of Denton. There is much to see here and visitors are welcome at all times, including Sunday. Road to the hatchery from Fort Worth is through Grapevine and Lewisville, thence to the Lake Dallas dam with the road leading off the dam a short distance downstream to the 52 ponds.
