Description

Floyd County has a new $300,000 courthouse which has replaced the courthouse destroyed by fire in 1949. Employed in the building's county clerk's office to handle an expected rush of land leases and royalty sales since discovery of oil on the Minnie Adams estate land are, left to right, Miss Roberta Garrett, Miss Edith Garrett, County Clerk Miss Margaret Collier and Mrs. Joy Day at typewriter.
