Description
An Army chaplain and husband of a Fort Worth resident. Captain William B. Barrett, has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in Korea, the 24th Infantry Division announced in Japan. His wife lives with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Armstrong at 2117 Gould. Captain Barrett is a native of Kentucky and has been in the Army since 1944. He was awarded the medal for his combat service with the divisions' 3rd Engineer Combat Battalion. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 26, 1952.
